Joseph A. Liberman, CPA

Joseph Liberman, CPA and Gorfine Schiller Gardyn serves as corporate accountant for the General Partner. Prior to Joe’s current position as Officer at GSG, he was partner-in-charge of the Baltimore tax department of SMART and Associates. Joe has over 30 years experience specializing in tax services including the areas of real estate, law, healthcare, technology and not-for-profit organizations.

Joe was an officer with Grabush, Newman, Co., P.A. before it combined with SMART in 2003. Prior to this, Joe was a partner with a local accounting firm that merged with Grabush, Newman & Co., P.A. in December 1997.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University and a Masters of Science in Taxation from the University of Baltimore. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and was previously involved with the International Group of Accounting Firms. Joe has been actively involved in MACPA, having served on its Peer Review and Federal Tax Committees.
